Business Week

Washington Business Week

Washington Business Week (WBW) is a week-long opportunity for high school students across the state to learn about teamwork, leadership, and setting real-life goals. It’s also about running your own business, facing real challenges and preparing yourself for the future. It’s intense and it’s fun!

The Foundation for Private Enterprise Education is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization sponsoring the Washington Business Week summer and in-school programs for high school students. This is a series of intensive week-long sessions held in the summer on college campuses and during the school year on high school campuses. The organization's goal is to promote free enterprise and give students the opportunity to learn about business, teamwork, leadership and setting real life goals. The Foundation has been active since 1976 and is governed by a board of directors comprised of business representatives from around the state.

I've volunteered as a Company Advisor (CA) for 5 years, and have learned so much from these bright high school juniors! I highly recommend high school students enrolling in this program, and individuals volunteering their time to work as a CA for a week.
